Art Therapy is pyschotherapy in which we use creative media and the creative process to foster
personal expression and to develop the insight that leads to change.
Art Therapists are trained in the use of art
and art-making as powerful tools in therapy. Art Therapy can help you engage with and overcome your obstacles, be those related to depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, chronic illness, addiction or simply a feeling of dissatisfaction with your life as it is now. Art Therapy can help you feel more vital and creative in every aspect of your life.
The foundation of my approach is that therapy should be collaborative. I work with my clients to identify their goals and to explore what might be in the way of achieving these goals. I am interactive and supportive of each client's individual needs - be that in-depth psychotherapy or simply to develop their creative inspiration and capabilities.
